Boracay, baby (part 2)
On our second day, I took the opportunity to take photos of the paradise beach. I woke up and the weather was so sunny and fine that I left my still sleeping companions and lounge in the sun. When they woke up, we hit the water with no sunblock (er, yeah we did) even though it was around noon (eek).

Although I adore sunsets and find them breathtakingly oh-so-beautiful, sunrise could may as well be more precious and equally amazing too. Why? Because I RARELY am awake at dawn. Hmm, I maybe awake but I don’t get to witness a sunrise because I’m probably in front of my laptop in the comfortable zone that is my bed sheltered in our house, where outside all you see are buildings. No, being able to witness a sunrise while you’re in the sea, to see the unobstructed view of the vast sky changing colors from black to blue with slashes of pink and purple and gold and see the sun slowly making its way out, rising from the mountains on the islands ahead—-well, it’s not an everyday sight. It is a jewel.
And here I was enjoying the view, right from our deck in our boat.
